	THAT'S RIGHT---PRELIMINARY PLANS FOR ANOTHER FUN-FILLED ATARI
GOLF TOURNAMENT ARE NOW BEING MADE!

WHEN: Don't know. (Some summer weekend.)

family, and friends...and probably anyone else.
		REFRESHMENTS: Sure.

WHAT?! YOU WANT MORE SPECIFIC DETAILS?! SORRY---THAT'S ALL I
KNOW.
Actually, we need to get a rough estimate of how many people would
be participating in order to get a date scheduled by the course. So, if
you happen to be interested, please respond by mail or by signing up on
the sheet posted outside my office.
Oh, there is one detail I do know:

		FUN: Tons! (Don't miss it!)

Atari/Tengen Golf Tournament

(2 / 5)

That's right, all you fine folks at Tengen---this golf tournament
is open to you, too. Sorry I neglected to mention this in the initial
message.
The sign-up sheet outside my office is filling up fast. Please
come by soon and get your name on there if interested.
Again, the details: Tournament to be held on some Saturday or
Sunday, probably in May or June, at the beautiful Pleasant Hills Country
Club/Resort. Entry fee is yet to be determined, as are most other details.
PLEASE NOTE: THE NEXT STEP, ACCORDING TO TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR JOSE
SANDOVAL, IS TO GET A DATE ARRANGED BY THE COURSE, THEN TO PROVIDE THEM WITH
A DEPOSIT. THIS MEANS WE NEED SOME MONEY NOW. WE ARE ASKING THAT EVERYONE
INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING PLEASE COUGH UP $10.00 A.S.A.P. THANKS.

The following details have been worked out:

	Location: Pleasant Hills
	Date: May 11, 1991 (Saturday), 10:00 AM.
Cost: $22 per person for green fees, $19 for a cart (yes, carts
should be available, but we should probably let them know
ahead of time how many we'll need. Please let me know soon
		if you'll want one.)
We will no doubt be asking everyone to chip in a few more dol
dollars to help pay for refreshments and some prizes.
	Scoring format: Any suggestions?

ATTENTION GOLF TOURNAMENT PARTICIPANTS!

A.S.A.P. TO BUY SUPPLIES AND PRIZES.

ATARI CLASSIC GOLF TOURNAMENT

(5 / 5)

The 1991 Atari Classic Golf Tournament is history, having been held this past
Saturday at Pleasant Hills. Special thanks are in order to the following
people for making it a most enjoyable event: Hide Nakajima, for his most
generous donations to help cover costs; Rick Thompson, for his efforts in
lining up an impressive collection of donated prizes; Lois Turner, Matt
Kendall, and Rick Rowe for their efficient handling of the all-important
beer cart (and for reserving the picnic site); and, of course, all who
helped in organizing the tourney---Rob Rowe, Lois Turner, Jose Sandoval,
Milt Loper, Peter Lipson, and others whom I'm forgetting now. (Sorry.)
Oh yeah---thanks Farrokh for getting the golf lesson coupons.

You all must be wondering who the big winners were. Well...OK, I'll tell
you:

THIRD PLACE (Even par): Nakajima, Sheffield, Thompson
FOURTH PLACE (4 OVER): McComb, McComb, Logg, Mercieca

*The Ralston team took first place honors via an exciting sudden-
death "chip-off" at the ninth green.
